Safety of Road Crossing Pedestrians

Shekh Rasel

Pedestrian road crossings have become a major issue in road traffic flow, especially in urban areas where there is no control for pedestrian road crossings. In a developing country like Bangladesh where there is a few signalized sections for road crossing, the problem becomes severe here. Here the topic “Safety of road crossing pedestrians” aims towards keeping in mind the immense risks that most people go through while they are on the road. During our study, we investigated and analyzed the problem; evaluated it in terms of real life situations; and finally tried to find an innovative and functioning system that can be applicable in our roads.
